Meet Jules.

Jules Okafor, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C (they/them)

Jules wants every visit to feel like a conversation with someone who is on your side.

Jules is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who started out in family practice at a community health center, so they look after the whole person, not just a diagnosis. Visits blend medication care with practical therapy skills from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and motivational interviewing.

How we work together

Come exactly as you are. Who you love, how you live, and what brought you here are all welcome.

Respect, both ways

You’ll be treated with warmth and courtesy, and we ask the same of you. Share at your own pace; there’s no wrong order to tell your story.

Your privacy

What you tell us stays with your care team, as the law requires. The one exception is safety: if someone’s life is in immediate danger, we may need to call for help.

Reaching us

We’re a small team. Messages and voicemails get an answer by the end of the next business day. For anything that can’t wait, use 988, urgent care, or 911.

Video visits

Video visits work anywhere in Minnesota. Licensing rules mean you need to be in the state while we meet, so join from home, work, or a parked car.

Two ways to see Jules

Prices are per visit. Medicines and lab work are billed separately by the pharmacy and lab you choose.

Paying for care

Mind & Mood visits are in network with:

  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota
  • Cigna
  • HealthPartners
  • Medica
  • PreferredOne

Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare plans aren’t in network yet. Ask us for our list of affirming clinics that take them.

Quick Care is self-pay only, and the price is the same for everyone.

Have out-of-network benefits? We’ll give you an itemized receipt (a superbill) to send to your plan.

Need to cancel or move a visit? Tell us by noon the business day before. Later changes and missed visits are $95.
